Miss Julianne Grace

Our sweet baby girl arrived on Friday, February 6. She weighed 8 pounds and 13 ounces and measured 21 1/4 inches long.

Baby Shower

A baby shower was given by my dear friend Haley and my sister in law Michelle. It was wonderful to share this special time with friends and family. Everyone was so generous and are as excited as we are to meet our sweet baby girl.

December Festivities

I've been tagged

I was tagged by my dear friend Stacey. The rules are to go to your 4th picture folder, find your 4th picture, and tell 4 things about the picture. Here we go!

Ha! This picture was taken this summer, don't let the hat and gloves fool you. Brodie was all about Scooby Doo and one of the movies had the gang mountain climbing in the snow. As you will see, he insisted on having all of the appropriate gear -hat(daniel boone style), gloves, goggles, backpack, boots, belt and a hammer to pull himself to the top of Mt. Everest. The boy is creative! Hmm...maybe acting is in his future.

Amanda, tag you're next.

November

I can't believe how quickly November has passed! Every year seems to go faster and faster...I can't imagine after we have 2 children how the time will fly. And yet I still have not learned to take more pictures, or actually be in a few myself.
We celebrated Roger's grandparents 50th wedding anniversary. Wow!
Brodie had a Thanksgiving feast at mdo and enjoyed his special lunch with "Bea". Oh yeah, he led the the blessing! (no stage fright here)
We made the trip back to Spanish Fort to have Thanksgiving with my family. Roger, Emma and Brodie decided what fun it would be to camp in the backyard. Any takers? Emma didn't make it much longer after this pic was taken. Brodie and Roger made it to 2:30 and crept back inside to thaw out.

Halloween

This year after several costume purchases Brodie changed his mind to a fireman. And of course it had to be complete with all the gear-oxygen tank, water, flashlight, etc. Because Halloween finally fell on a weekend we drove to my parents in Spanish Fort. This was the first time Brodie actually trick or treated people he didn't know. Wow, did he catch on fast. After the first house, he ran back to us, showed his candy and said "it really worked!"

Fall Fun

Roger's aunt planned a fun fall festival for all of the family to enjoy. Brodie roasted his first hot dog, then we rode a hay ride through the forest, and played games.
The next day we visited Old Baker's farm with Brodie's grandparents, aunt & uncle, and cousins. It was our first trip to the farm and boy is it different. But we had a good time anyway watching the Indians dance, the loud war reenactment and exploring the barn.
