Diego Live!

Roger & I took Brodie and his cousin Brock to the Diego Live show at the BJCC. Let's just say it does not compare to a Disney show, I guess this company is on a cheaper budget. I wish I had a pic of the green hooded men that did not even try to blend into the background. (very creepy!) But as you can see the boys had a blast and that's all that matters.

Pet Free

For those of you keeping count- we managed to keep Charlie 5 days. After I caught Brodie swinging the little dachshund by his hind legs we decided they were not a good pair. Fortunately Charlie did not sustain any broken bones or other injuries, yet. Brodie loved Charlie (just a little too much) and was sad to return him. But like any good parents we bribed him with Kung Fu Panda movie tickets and a prize of his choice from Target. Our lesson has been learned - we will never own another pet!

What?!?

Honestly I think this family is completely crazy. I don't know what we are doing with a 3rd dog, or should I say 3rd attempt at owning a dog. This cute little dachshund, Charlie, is our latest addition. We all really like him, but could do without the wining and puppy accidents. It's been 3 days and Roger & I are already having second thoughts. I really think a flyer with our picture should be posted around town "Do not give or sell these people any pets! They do not understand long term commitment." Hmm, if only we could rent a dog, then we would remember why we are not good owners.

Regions Golf Classic

My Dad had the opportunity for the second year to play in the Regions Golf Classic. We were able to go again this year to be his "quiet" cheering section. Brodie loved watching his PopPop play golf, but was more interested in his cart & snacks.

T-Ball Party

Hooray, t-ball is over! It really wasn't that bad. Finally, many weeks and 7 games later the kids were ready to party. We celebrated at the park with hot dogs, cupcakes and lots of fun games. I think the best part was the water balloon fight between the kids and the grownups.

Boys will be Boys

It's official, he's 4!

On the morning of Brodie's actual birthday we asked him where he would like to go, then we named some of his favorite places. His response, "let's go everywhere!" So we quickly jumped out of bed to get a start on this busy day. His daddy cooked his favorite breakfast (pancakes), then we went to the Mcwane center, lunch at Chuck E. Cheese's and spent the afternoon at the zoo. Spoiled you say, nah, just the perks of being an only child.

4th Birthday Party

Brodie chose to celebrate his 4th birthday at Pump It Up. We couldn't have been happier with his choice. The adults have as much (maybe more) fun as the kids, the staff sets up the party room and then cleans up everything. Perfect!
