Christmas Day

Christmas is finally here! I think Brodie was the first to wake up, I remember he ran thru the house yelling "Santa Came"! He opened his presents quick this time and even helped open a few others. Our morning was coming to an end, when Brodie spotted something outside. He raced to the back door, and was thrilled to see a power wheels Lightning Mcqueen car. This was the first toy on his Christmas list, which he began in October. He made several morning practice laps, and by the afternoon Brodie decided to be a little adventurous. He made many attempts at driving his car up the basketball goal! (luckily he wasn't hurt) I've always said he will probably grow up to be a stunt man and he proves me right weekly. It was definitely the best gift since he kept the whole family laughing and very entertained:)

Spoiled Rotten!

We always travel out of town for Christmas, and because of that we exchange gifts with the Smiths before we leave. This year we celebrated at our house and were quite surprised by how long it took "Bea & Pops" to unload their car. (I will never be able to convince them that he would be just as happy with 2 presents) Brodie enjoyed opening his gifts, but LOVED placing them in an organized pile. He wouldn't play with anything until all were unwrapped, and then he would make a selection from his stash. I am very fortunate to have such a great relationship with my in laws, and thrilled they think Brodie hangs the moon. Because we certainly think so too!
